So instead of only making 8-9 hamburgers, you will be able to make 16 at no extra cost! It is also very easy to change the recipe to suit the tastes of different people (see notes below). • (5) Cover two baking sheets/pans with tin foil, and then form the hamburger meat into patties and place them onto the baking sheets. (image below)
  • (6) Bake in the oven for 30-minutes at 450-degrees Fahrenheit (232-degrees Celsius).
Notes Notes Notes:

A. Suit to your own taste — After trying this recipe you may want to enhance the taste of the burgers in some way. So if you want them:

  • to be more salty, add more salt to the recipe.
  • to be more spicy, add more pepper or even cayenne pepper.
  • to be more flavorful, add a couple squirts of mustard or 3 cloves of garlic (minced).

B. A food processor can easily shred all of the beets or carrots in a few minutes.

C. Don’t use unground or coarsely ground oatmeal. The cereal must be finely ground to work properly.

D. Ignore the liquid that leaks onto the baking sheet during baking. It comes from the beets or carrots and won’t affect the final product.
